Bold and beautiful left Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) in turmoil last week upon learning of his best friend’s plan to take over Forrester Creations. Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) ran straight to Ridge after listening to her daughter and Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor).
So far, it appears that Brooke informed Ridge of an ongoing coup that has alienated her from Hope Logan (Annika Noelle). Brooke Logan put her daughter in Ridge Forrester’s line of sight, but Hope isn’t the only one he’s targeting next week. This Logan sister may soon discover that the seamstress is also targeting her with her latest scheme.
Ridge won’t go down without a fight, and the Bold and beautiful The preview indicates that he has a serious battle on his hands. What Carter did isn’t easy to undo, or at least that’s what Justin Barber (Aaron D. Spears) suggests to Ridge next week.
B&B Spoilers: Ridge Rejects Brooke Logan
Bold and beautiful Ridge Forrester gave Carter Walton a second chance last week after beckoning him to his office. But that came with a contingency that Carter would probably refuse. The seamstress wishes her best friend would drop Hope Logan like a hot potato.
Ridge now thinks Hope has gotten into the COO’s head. And he brags that Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) predicted it. But Carter doesn’t like it when his best friend criticizes Hope.
So, Carter probably refuses the second chance he was offered. Bold and beautiful spoilers have Ridge, Steffy, Justin and Eric Forrester (John McCook) scrambling to stop the takeover next week.
But Bold and beautiful spoilers also suggest that Ridge continues to hold Brooke’s daughter responsible for this coup. And his actions are probably starting to push Brooke away from him. The Logan matriarch probably fears losing the man she calls her destiny because of this, especially with her ex hanging around.
Bold and the Beautiful: Brooke’s Concerns About Her Rival
Bold and beautiful Taylor Hayes (Rebecca Budig) becomes a fixture at Forrester Creations. But Brooke Logan thinks her rival’s real goal is to get back together with Ridge. So if Brooke had talked to Hope before going to the seamstress with what she heard, she might have pushed it in Taylor’s direction.
Brooke can’t afford to seem like she’s on her daughter’s side in this attempt at redemption. So, by going to Ridge Forrester before confronting her daughter, she demonstrated her loyalty to the man she hopes to marry again one day.
But Bold and beautiful spoilers suggest it makes no difference. Next week, between Ridge’s fury toward Hope and his suspicions that Brooke might be standing behind his daughter, it will likely start to tear this couple apart. Guest rooms hinted that Ridge Forrester had some derogatory words to say about Brooke’s daughter, which made the Logan matriarch cringe.
Brooke will continue to defend her daughter next week. She remains adamant that this wouldn’t have happened if Steffy Forrester hadn’t fired Hope Logan. But Ridge Forrester won’t hear any of that.
Plus, since Taylor makes an almost daily appearance at FC, she probably has some harsh words for Brooke Logan too. So next week, it looks like Brooke Logan’s faithful act of going to Ridge Forrester with what she heard from her daughter will come back to bite her hard on the CBS soap.
