Led by Salman Ali Agha, the XI includes young and powerful players including Saim Ayub, Umair Ben Youssef, Usman Khan, Tayyab Tahir, Mohammad Irfan Khan and Jehandad Khan.

The bowling side includes Mohammad Abbas Afridi, Haris Rauf, Abrar Ahmed and Sufyan Muqim.

Earlier, skipper Agha said that the team’s first priority is to win the series. “We won the one-day series, now our target is to win the T20I series,” he asserted.

“We have to give the young players maximum opportunities in this series,” the captain said while speaking during a press conference in Bulawayo today.

There will be new faces in the T20I series, Agha said, adding that the team will maintain its momentum in the shortest format of the game. “We will try to play hard.”

The captain said that the T20I team has good bowlers. He added that he wants the youth to play and enjoy the game, stressing that the young players have performed well in domestic cricket and should be given the opportunity.

Speaking about the opposition, Agha said Zimbabwe are a good team and have match-winners, but the team will try to dominate them. He added: “The Zimbabwean national team has proven its strength on home soil.”

On Thursday, the Men in Green inflicted a 99-run defeat on Zimbabwe in the third One Day International to win the series 2-1.

Karman Ghulam’s maiden century, followed by a combined bowling effort, led Pakistan to a resounding win over Zimbabwe in the deciding ODI series.
