Lynn shared the news that she had lost her dear husband Wayne. He died on Wednesday November 27, 2024, at the age of 77. At the time of his death, Wayne Northrop was in the custody of the Motion Picture and Television Home.
His wife revealed that in 2018, six years ago, Wayne was diagnosed with early-onset Alzheimer’s disease. And it was the complications of the disease that cost him his life. Lynn said: “Wayne took his last breath in the arms of his family.”
Wayne Northrop played Roman Brady from 1981 to 1984 on Days of our Lives. Then, he returned to the role of Roman from 1991 to 1994. In addition to DOOL, Wayne starred on screen with his wife Lynn Herring in the spin-off of his soap opera.
