Famous soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo has finally broken his silence regarding the long-running controversy over “The GOAT” with his Argentine rival Lionel Messi.

In a video recently uploaded to his YouTube channel, UR Cristiano, the soccer star took part in a penalty shootout with popular YouTuber MrBeast.

In the video, the American YouTuber and his three friends, all wearing Al-Nasr shirts, appeared playing the role of goalkeepers while Ronaldo shot the ball toward the goal.

During the challenge, MrBeast can be heard shouting, “Nolan says he doesn’t like you, he thinks you’re not the GOAT… he thinks Messi is better!” He calls it football and says Messi is the GOAT.

In response, the former Real Madrid and Manchester United player joked: “Who said Messi is better than me?” And he burst into laughter.

Earlier, in a press conference, the Portuguese striker shared his thoughts on the comparison with the Inter Miami star.

“It no longer matters whether I am the best or not, I no longer care about that. It is good for the player to score goals, but for me it is better for the team to win.”

“I’m used to breaking records, and I’m no longer looking for them. The most important thing for me now is to have fun and help Al Nassr and my teammates win.”

Ronaldo is 58 goals ahead of his rival Lionel Messi, who scored 842 goals, while Brazilian legend Pele occupies third place with 765 goals.

Meanwhile, the Al Nassr captain revealed that he aims to achieve 1,000 goals in the future, during a conversation with his former Manchester United teammate Rio Ferdinand.
