Pakistani cricketers Saim Ayub and Salman Ali Agha have moved up in the latest ICC rankings for both the white-ball and red-ball formats after their impressive performances in recent matches.
Emerging batsman Saim, who was named Player of the Series after Pakistan’s 3-0 win over South Africa, climbed an impressive 57 places to finish 23rd with 603 PIR.
His exceptional performances, highlighted by two centuries in the series, have cemented his place among the best players in international cricket.
Vice Captain Agha also showed significant improvement, rising 28 places to 80th place with 468 rating points.
In the ICC ODI rankings, Pakistan captain Mohammad Rizwan has moved up three places, moving up from 24th to 21st with 612 ranking points.
While Abdullah Shafiq, who endured a difficult series with three consecutive ducks, fell 21 places to 98th place.
Pakistan’s opening batsmen, Fakhar Zaman and Imam ul Haq, saw a slight decline, falling one point each to 17th and 19th respectively.
Babar Azam continues to dominate the ODI rankings, sitting at number one, while India’s Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill are at number two and third.
In the ODI bowling rankings, Haris Rauf has dropped from 15th to 16th, while Mohammed Wasim Jr is at 61st.
Naseem Shah made a notable rise, jumping 10 places from 61st to 51st, while Muhammad Nawaz fell six places to 73rd.
Rashid Khan retains the top spot in the ODI bowler rankings, with Shaheen Afridi slipping to third place, ahead of India’s Kuldeep Yadav in second place.
In the T20I rankings, Babar and Rizwan maintained their positions at sixth and eighth respectively, while Saim moved up one place to 57th.
Despite their absence from action, Fakhar and Iftikhar Ahmed moved up one place to 68th and 78th respectively.
Australian Travis Head tops the T20I player rankings, followed by England’s Phil Salt and India’s Tilak Varma.
Shaheen has dropped two places in the T20I bowler rankings, and now stands at 23rd with 599 ranking points. Haris Rauf also saw a decline, falling to 28th place.
Young driver Abbas Afridi fell one place to 43rd, while Shadab Khan improved slightly, moving up two places to 69th.
In the Test rankings, Babar moved up two places in the Test batter rankings, reaching 15th place with 670 rating points.
Agha and Radwan improved to 18th and 19th places, respectively.
Both Imamul Haq and Abdullah Shafiq witnessed a decline, falling to 44th and 50th places, respectively.
Former captain Sarfaraz Ahmed, who is currently out of international football, saw his ranking rise to 72nd place.
In the Test bowling rankings, Nauman Ali has moved up one place to ninth, while Afridi remains at 18th.
Hasan Ali and Sajid Khan retained their positions at 38th and 40th respectively. Naseem Shah is ranked 41st, while Abrar Ahmed and Khurram Shehzad remain at 58th and 60th.
Indian Jasprit Bumrah continues to top the bowler rankings, followed by South African Kagiso Rabada and Australian Josh Hazlewood.
