Lindsay Arnold‘s breast augmentation surgery was a success — and according to a post updating her fans, even her braids stayed in place.
THE Dancing with the stars a 31-year-old former student documented her journey before and after the operation via a TikTok posted on Wednesday January 15.
“Post-op Lindsay is a sight to behold,” she joked, adding two laughing emojis. “Everything went well, thank you for all the well wishes.”
Arnold filmed herself heading to the hospital on Tuesday, January 14, telling the camera, “I can’t believe this is actually happening!”
Once checked in, she documented the required urine sample, joking, “I hope I’m not pregnant.”
Arnold then told his fans a “fun fact” about his childhood associated with breast augmentation. “When I was in high school, there was a rumor going around that I got a boob job and that it was my dad who gave me my boob job,” she shared. “My father is not a plastic surgeon.”
The professional dancer admitted she “wasn’t even mad about it,” but all these years later, she still doesn’t really know who started the rumor.
Before his surgery, Arnold made a TikTok with his surgeon where they both danced. She also showed off her pre-procedure braids and noted that her husband, Sam CusickI would film some behind-the-scenes moments.
The camera picked up after his procedure, when Arnold was drowsy from the painkillers. “(Are) my braids still in place? » she asked her husband when she woke up.
Cusick assured Arnold that her hair still looked good and she began to doze off. “I’m not very funny, am I?” » she asked before falling asleep.
When Arnold returned home that afternoon, she documented her recovery again, revealing that she watched Parks and Recreation.
“My pain is OK, I’m just very sleepy, dizzy and nauseous,” she explained on TikTok. “I can feel a little tightness (around my breasts). I’m still so nauseous. As far as pain goes, really, I’m not too unhappy at all.
On Wednesday, Arnold returned to Instagram to share another update after a night at home. “I feel pretty good this morning!” she wrote via her Instagram story. “Coming out of anesthesia was difficult yesterday, just very nauseous and dizzy, but I slept really well and felt good. The pain is minimal so far and I am very grateful for that.
Arnold then shared a video of her daughters, Sage, 4, and June, 20 months, lying in bed with her while explaining her surgery. “My girls have been so good to me, they are the sweetest,” she captioned the clip.
Arnold announced her plans to undergo a breast augmentation and facelift in December 2024, calling it her “Christmas present.”
She noted that after a birthday getaway to Mexico with her husband, she was going to have surgery. “It’s something I’m very passionate about,” Arnold said in a TikTok video at the time. “I know there are mixed opinions on this sort of thing, and so I understand. …If it’s not for you, it’s not for you.
Arnold opened up about her choice in another TikTok video, revealing that she had originally planned to undergo the procedure once she was “finished having kids.”
Her timeline, however, has since changed, with Arnold telling his followers, “We’re not done having babies,” but the couple had no plans to expand their brood just yet.
“I just decided I didn’t want to wait,” she added. “Obviously, (I) know there’s a chance I might need support later in life or something, but I don’t want to wait any longer. … We’re just putting (family planning) on hold a little longer.
