The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Saturday announced the schedule for the Tri-Nation ODI series, featuring New Zealand and South Africa.

The series will be played on a single-league basis from February 8 to 14, with Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium hosting the opening match and Karachi’s National Stadium hosting the final league match and final.

Pakistan and New Zealand will kick off this series at the iconic Gaddafi Stadium on Saturday, February 8, with the first ball scheduled to be played at 2pm (PST).

New Zealand will next face South Africa on Monday, February 10, in a day match with the lead-off at 9am.

The action will shift to Karachi, where Pakistan will take on South Africa on February 12 in a day/night match at the National Stadium, starting at 2pm. The final will be played on Friday, February 14, with the first ball being played at 2pm.

Pakistan and New Zealand are scheduled to train at Gaddafi Stadium on Thursday, February 6, under the lights, while South Africa’s first outing at the historic venue will be on Sunday, February 9.

In a statement, the PCB said the four matches at the Gaddafi Stadium and the National Stadium will provide the three sides with an excellent opportunity to finish their preparations for the 2025 ICC Champions Trophy.

Moreover, the PCB said, it will also be an ideal occasion for the Cricket Board to showcase its redesigned and redeveloped venues to the world by broadcasting it on a global level.

At Gaddafi Stadium, spectator capacity has been increased, with new chairs installed throughout the venue. In addition, 480 state-of-the-art LED lights have been installed to enhance Broadcast Lux levels, ensuring a superior viewing experience for audiences around the world.

To further heighten the spectator experience, giant digital replay screens — measuring 80 feet x 30 feet and 22 feet x 35 feet — were installed.

The new hospitality container for players and officials is nearing completion, ensuring the iconic stadium is fully operational to deliver an unrivaled experience for all stakeholders.

At the National Stadium, major improvements have been made, including the creation of a new hospitality container for players and officials at the university end.

To improve broadcast coverage, 350 LED lights were installed, ensuring optimal visibility for global audiences. Two digital replay screens have already been repaired and 5,000 new chairs have been installed to enhance spectator comfort.
