
Birmingham: England is scheduled to host the 2025 World Cup for men and women. The week -long tournament will be held in the West Midlands region in March this year. Sixteen teams, including Pakistan, India, and England hosts, will hope for the first time in Asia.
In the men’s competition, sixteen teams were divided into four groups while women’s competition will have two groups. The matches will be played in four places in Birmingham, Al -Salal, Coventry and Wolverhampton from March 17 to 23. Kabadddi will participate in the countries of Asia, Africa, America and Europe in men and women’s competitions, with a total of more than 60 games in the tournament.
In the men’s competition, the Pakistani team is placed in “Group D” alongside Taiwan, Italy and Kenya. The host of England in “Group A” with Malaysia, Poland and Cameroon. Langka, Hong Kong, Scotland and Egypt are placed in Group B, while former world champion India is “Group C” with China, the United States and Tanzania.
As for the women’s competition, England, Hong Kong, Poland and Tanzania in Group A, while India, Egypt, Scotland and Kenya are in the group B.
The tournament will start on March 17 with hosts in England on Cameroon. Before that, a brief opening ceremony will also be held.
Pakistan will play the first match of the tournament against Kenya on March 18. On March 19, the teams will travel to Coventry in the second round of the group stage matches, where Pakistan will be shown against Italy in Coventry Arena. The next day, the Nechells Wellbeing Center in Birmingham will host the teams for the remaining group stage matches in the men’s competition. On the twenty -first of March, the remaining matches of women’s groups will be played at Wolverhampton University, the campus, followed by the quarter -finals of men. The tournament will then return to Wolverhampton, where the semi -finals of men and women are scheduled to be held on March 22. Third place matches will also be shown in addition to the finals of men and women’s teams in Wolverhampton on March 23.
The World Cup in the 2025 World Cup received 500,000 pounds from funding from the Commonwealth Games Fund in the United Kingdom in the wake of a joint offer by Wolverhampton City Council and World Kabaddi.
This funding will not only guarantee that the legacy of the positive and permanent commenery games will continue to benefit from the entire region, but also helps in increasing access to sport and culture, which enhances the reputation of the West Midlands region as a global host of major events.
