Bold and the Beautiful becomes interesting with Finn Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) trying to buy her daughter Luna Nozawa (Lisa Yamada) so that she can be in her life. I know it looks like a monumental task, if not impossible,, but I think that is exactly what the CBS soap is planning to do. It is Belinda from the dirt from the soap. We are going to go through five ways that Finn could buy his murderous child and bring families to accept it.
In the most recent episode, when Finn saw Luna at the house of Bill Spencer (Don Diamont), looking at her face and his apologies. And then he took her in his arms, who sealed the agreement for me. I knew, okay, if there was a doubt, we are heading for a redemption arc. This emotional moment just threw all this through the window. It happens definitively.
So let’s dive exactly how much Bold can take a double murderer and take it out of prison, to be concerned with an interior residence and to remove it in the canvas of the character on B&B. You know, without the revelation of Finn as his father. I don’t think it could have gone this way. And if you don’t think they can buy a villain like Luna, take a look at her grandmother Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown).
Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: 1. Rehabilitation is the key to the redemption of Luna Finnegan
The first thing Finn must do is make sure Luna is rehabilitated and is a threat to anyone. There is no redemption without rehabilitation. After killing two men and tried to kill Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline Macinnes Wood). And remember, Finn’s father is Jack Finnegan (Ted King), a first-rate criminal defense lawyer. I bet Jack could turn his conviction. And a plea of mental alienation based on this terrible childhood that they invented for her. The sending of Luna retroactively to a psychiatric hospital for intensive psychotherapy would be a good start.
And the thing about the moment you have an advocacy of mental alienation and you are sent to a psychiatric installation, is that you are not there for a fixed period. I don’t know if you knew, but instead, it’s not like a prison sentence. You are mainly sent to it until they decide that you are healed. And that you are mentally equipped to be back in society. This is why it could be a springboard. And it would be super interesting if they sent Luna there and his therapist was Dr. Taylor Hayes (Rebecca Budig). Because it could absolutely help buy Luna on Bold and The Beautiful. Because Steffy would believe her mom Taylor if she said: “Okay, I worked with her. Luna is stable. It is no longer a danger. It would help.
Bold and beautiful spoilers: 2. Implying a family in the redemption of Luna Finnegan
Another way to move the redemption of Luna is for Finn to ensure that her mother, Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda), is involved in the effort. Obviously, she will be amazed to discover that Luna is her granddaughter. And I doubt that she will want Luna to pay the price of bad parenting of Poppy.
So, I could see Li spending time visiting Luna at Bill’s, in prison, at the psychiatric hospital, wherever she finds herself and knowing her as a granddaughter. And if spending time with Finn and Li and pass through therapy with Taylor produces results. So I think it would help a lot. If it really believes that Luna is rehabilitated and has really changed and is not a threat, I think she could defend in her name. She would go to Steffy and asked her daughter-in-law to give her another chance. And to give it another good chance.
B&B spoilers: 3. Actions speak more than words
The first two things I mentioned on the list of redemptions concern more words and internal things than acts. But I also think that Luna must prove his redemption through actions. Actions that demonstrate that it is no longer a monster and is able to have a good heart. One way to show it is to sacrifice yourself in one way or another to save Finn’s wife, Steffy. A kind of eye for an eyeworthiness, but not like a revenge, more like redemption.
A kind of situation where Luna saves Steffy’s life to compensate to try to take it before. It could be a situation in which Luna intervenes when Steffy is threatened by someone and finds it difficult to protect her, or to a situation where Luna finds Steffy after being in a car accident, the car on fire and that could explode. Then Luna risks her own life to draw her mother-in-law Steffy and hurts in the process, gets burns. Basically, a kind of act to prove that Luna cares about Steffy, does not want to hurt her and is ready to risk her own health and safety to protect Finn’s woman. And it would be an action that has demonstrated its ability to be bought.
4. Navigation of new friendships
Something else to think is this new friendship that we see between Luna and Remy Pryce (Christian Weissmann). He is a bad guy, and I don’t think he finished with his obsession with Electra Forrester (Laneya Grace). Of course, Luna has no idea that he has tracked down and displayed photos of the Brutes of Electra. Remy told him that he had made mistakes in his past, but there is no way that this guy was bought, and at this stage, I don’t even think he is interested in redemption. It is probably angry that he was caught.
I expect him to come back right away to track down Electra, but perhaps do it in a slightly smarter way so that he does not get caught next time. Because Luna gets to know Remy, she could discover what he plans to do in Electra. Even if we have seen that Luna has the Beguin for Will Spencer (Crew Morrow), if she resists the temptation to take advantage of what Remy does and prevents her from doing something wrong with Electra, I think it would also demonstrate her rehabilitation and the fact that she is ripe for redemption.
Spoilers for Bold and the Beautiful: 5. Sacrifice for redmption
The fastest way to do so would be to have Hayes Forrester (Alexander and Chase Banks), which is Luna’s half-brother, has a kind of illness and he needs a donation, like bone marrow or kidney, and no one in the family is a match, but Luna is. She gives disinterested the part of the body that the kid needs to save her life, then bam, instant redemption! They have already done so. I think they could start again. We will see how it goes.
