Beijing: A promising Chinese soccer player died after suffering a serious head injury during training in Spain.
Jiakuan’s strength fell in a coma last month after an accident during a training match between the U-20 men in Beijing and the Spanish side RC alcobendas in Madrid.
“Mitt of the brain” was announced by a local hospital before being transferred to China for more care.
However, according to multiple local media reports, Qoh died on Wednesday evening at Beijing Tianan Hospital after his condition deteriorated.
GUO, who played for the U-19 team of the first-class Beijing Guoan and chosen for the China U-17 team in 2023, died a day after his nineteenth birthday.
It was also included in the FC Bayern World, an annual project run by the largest club in Germany to discover global talent.
On social media, the Guo brother published a black and white image of the young defender with the illustrations: “It will be frozen forever on the last day of his eighteenth year.”
Last month, he wrote that the state of strength showed “no improvement” and the family “gradually accepts reality.”
The specific conditions that led to a force injury are still unclear. His family requested video clips of the match, details of the Guo medical treatment before he arrived at the hospital and information about his insurance.
On Tuesday, Qouh’s brother wrote on social media that the family “only wants the truth and justice.”
In a statement on February 13, the Beijing Football Association said it is “very sad” due to the accident and will do its best to carry out follow -up work.
