World 1 Arena Sabalinka stormed the first final in Miami by winning 6-2, 6-2 over Yasmine Paulini, Italy.
The Belarusia needed only 71 minutes to dismantle the sixth seed, and its dominant tour of the championship extends without dropping a group.
SABALENKA, Grand Slam, will face three times, Jessica Peugeot in Saturday. Peugeot defeated Alexandra Ella in the second semi -finals.
The victory also represented its second consecutive final appearance after falling to Mirra Andreva in Indian Wales earlier this month.
“I am very happy with the level I played today. Of course, very happy to be in the first final in Miami’s open,” said Sabalinka.
She was in control from start to finish, and she never lag at any time. The result was linked only twice-1-1 in each group-before Sabalinka, where six overwhelming transmitters appeared and Paulini broke four times.
“Certainly I would like to say that this was one of the best season matches so far,” she added. “I was focusing on myself and the things I had to do. I felt that everything was walking smoothly on my way.”
26 -year -old celibacy is determined to avoid the repetition of her last last defeats in Indian Wales and the Australian opening, as she lost to Madison Keys.
“The lesson from these losses is to focus on myself, not what is happening on the other side,” said Sabalinka. “I really feel that I will do better than I did in the last two final.”
By reaching the Miami Final, Sabalenka joins the elite group as only a sixth woman who reaches both finalists in the American “Sunshine Swing” in the same season.
With her high confidence and game in the highest shape, she is now looking forward to her impressive career with Miami Open.
