Darwin to host the Cricket game after 17 years – Aitrend

Cricket Australia confirmed its international schedule from 2025-26, which represents Darwin’s return as an international place for the first time in 17 years.

The city will host two T20is men between Australia and South Africa in August. Meanwhile, India will tour Australia for eight white football games 21 days before the ashes of men, which begins in late November.

The men’s team will start their home season in mid -August, shortly after the conclusion of their tour in the West Indies. They will face South Africa in three T20is and three ODis throughout northern Australia, with Darwin, Kerns, and Makai – Makay – hosts Australian men for the first time.

Darwin last hosted the international cricket game in 2008 when Australia played the role of Bangladesh. With this return, the men’s team will play in all states and regions during the 2025-26 season. Northern Australia is scheduled to host a series of two tests against Bangladesh in 2026, which was transferred from March 2027 to accommodate the 150th anniversary test in MCG.

Darwin is in disagreement of one of those matches, along with Kirns, Macai, and perhaps Townsfel.

India, which lost 3-1 in the Gavascar Cup this season, will visit Australia from mid-October to three Odis and five T20is before the Ashes series. Award equipment was already confirmed, with the start of the first test on November 21 in Perth. The India tour will also start in Perth, with the first ODI on October 19 – it is scheduled to avoid narrow shift due to long trips. One of the five T20is will be played on Gold Coast. In addition, there will be a longer gap between the white soccer series in India and the beginning of ash compared to the shorter shift between the Pakistan and India series earlier this year, allowing Australia to present a full -power group. Before the arrival of India, Australia will tour New Zealand for a short period in early October for the T20i series of three games, with dates that have not been confirmed yet.
