Pakistan Cricket Chairman (PCB) became Mohsen Naqafi as Chairman of the Asian Cricket Council after a decision taken by the Regional Executive Committee.
The Executive Committee, the Administrative Coordination Committee, held a virtual session in which the decision of the presidency of Pakistan was taken.
The Regional Cricket Authority said in a statement that Naqafi, who held the position of Chairman of the Pakistani Cricket Board (PCB) since February 2024, will take over this distinguished role on April 3.

The heads of the Administrative Coordination Committee are recruited in a way based on the rotation between member states.
Behind Nafi, the Sri Lanka Crikati head (SLC) Shami Silva. Thinking about the transition, Silva participated in his appreciation of the ACC community: “It was a privilege to be president of the Asian Cricket Council.
“The fixed commitment to our members of our members has been pivotal in raising the status of the Administrative Coordination Committee throughout the region.”
Silva concluded that “when I stepped down, I have complete confidence that with a capable purpose of leadership, the Administrative Coordination Committee will continue its wonderful journey and flourish.”
NAQVI was appointed head of the PCB dispute in February last year for a period of three years and apart from the fulfillment of the role of the chlorine vinyl president, Naqvi is also the Minister of Interior in Pakistan.
He also learned to stand up to make decisions to divide his duties with the former captain of the Pakistani crochet team and Qar Yunus.
The chlorine vinyl president will focus on administrative issues within the board of directors, and the veteran warrior will work as a consultant in cricket affairs.
Younis will oversee cricket affairs, including issues related to international and local Crickets, the Selection Committee and Non -objection certificates (NOCS) for the players.
The PCB 2014 constitution allows the Chairman of the Board of Directors to divide or share his authority with another official.
