Lahore: The Punjab government issued a notice that changes the timing of schools in specific areas of Lahore due to the Pakistani Premier League matches (PSL) that will be held in Gaddafi Stadium.
According to the notice issued by the provincial government, the new timing will work for schools in the areas near the Gaddafi Stadium.
The notification said that schools in the Golburg, Town, Ichhra, Jail Road, Ferozepur Road, Shadman, Canal Road, Upper Mall and Zahoor Elahi Road will notice the new timing.
During the PSL matches, schools in these areas will work from 7 am to 12 pm. This will guarantee the comfort of students and employees during the Cricket game matches.
PSL matches in Lahore are scheduled for different dates between April 24 and May 18, and all matches will be here/ night, starting at 7 pm.
Meanwhile, the training matches for the Women’s World Cup qualifications began at the International Criminal Court in Medina today. The final of the Women’s World Cup qualifiers in Lahore will be held on April 19.
While the PSL X will start on April 11 with a match between the heroes defending Islamabad United and Lahore Qalandars. The great final of the tournament will be held at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore on May 18, with a total of 34 games over 37 days.
This year, the six teams will be hosted in four cities: Karachi, Lahore, Multan, and Rawalpindi, with the majority of the matches that are held in Lahore.
The PCB Cricket Panel (PCB) officially started on Thursday to sell tickets to Marquee’s event, PSL X.
