US President Donald Trump reused the White House Covid Support website, COVID.GOV, in a platform focused on laboratory leak theory behind the origin of the virus.
The website, which previously offered advice on vaccines and tests, now presents Covid’s “real origins”, saying that it came out of a laboratory in Wuhan.
He also accuses the American medical community of conspiring with the media to suppress this theory.
A senior government official told Fox News: “This administration favors transparency over everything else.”

The updated content directly targets Anthony Fauci, who directed the National Institute of Infectious Allergies and Diseases during Trump’s first term, accusing him of promoting a “favorite story of Covid-19 at natural”.
A central objective of the criticism is the scientific document entitled “the proximal origin of SARS-COV-2”, which helped to direct the consensus towards a natural overflow.
However, the messages published thereafter by a Congress Committee revealed that one of the authors of the newspaper recognized that a laboratory leak had remained a possibility, although they feared the offensive of China.

According to the revised site, Covid contains a “biological characteristic that is not in nature”, and Wuhan – the epicenter of the virus – housed a research installation with “inadequate biosecurity levels”.
The site also stresses that Joe Biden granted Dr Fauci a forgiveness only a few hours before leaving the office in January.
At the time, Biden defended his decision by saying that it was not “an admission of guilt” for any reprehensible act, but rather a decision to protect the official from potential prosecution under the inbound administration.
The web page accuses the health department of blocking the survey of a selective committee on the origins of the virus during the presidency of Biden.

He also criticizes the World Health Organization (WHO) – that Trump removed the United States at the start of his end – for what he calls “abject failure” by “yielding” to China.
An investigation led by the WHO in 2021 concluded that the theory of laboratory leaks was “extremely improbable”. However, the scientist who led the mission later admitted that China had put pressure on the team during the process.
The updated site also claims that there is no “conclusive evidence” that the wearing of masks has reduced the transmission of the virus and blames locking for having caused “immeasurable damages” both to the economy and to public health.
In addition, he noted that former FBI director Christopher Wray said in 2023 that the office thought that laboratory leak was the most likely cause of the pandemic pandemic, a conclusion reproduced by the CIA in January.
