Marks & Spencer (M&S) ordered the hundreds of workers from the agency of its main distribution center to stay at home while it is struggling with the impact that deploys a cyber attack on the most famous British retailer.

Sky News learned that about 200 people who were to undertake a quarter work in the vast castle of M&S Donington Clothing and Homeware Logistics Center of the East Midlands were invited not to arrive in the middle of climbing the crisis.

Agency staff represent about 20% of Castle Donington’s workforce, according to a source close to Ms.

The retailer’s own employees who work on the site have been invited to come as usual, added the source.

“There is work to do for them,” they said.

M&S revealed last week that he suspended online orders following the cyber attack, but provided some other details on the nature and extent of the incident.

In its latest investor update, the company said on Friday that its product range was “available to travel online, and our stores remain open and ready to welcome and serve customers”.

“We continue to manage the incident proactively and the M&S team supported by leading experts – works extremely hard to restore online operations and continue to serve customers well,” he added.
