The Women’s World Cup final will be held at the T20 ICC at Lord’s on Sunday, July 5, which was announced before the launch event today at the iconic London place that will attend some of the names of British women’s sport.
Lord’s, which was also a place for the exciting final of the Women’s Cricket World Cup between England and India in 2017, is one of seven places confirmed at the Women’s World Cup in ICC 2026, along with Old Trafford Cricket Groun, Headingley, Edgbaston, Hampshire, Ground Oval and Bristol.
The tournament begins on Friday, June 12, before it is crowned in Lord’s, 33 fixtures and after 24 days, the best international women’s game will be shown and strive to take the gynecologist to the main current.
The 12 teams of England and Wales will witness to compete for the prestigious cup currently maintained by New Zealand.
The championship schedule, which will witness a team that competes in two groups before the knockout stage, will be announced in a timely manner.
Eight countries are already sure of their place, as the four final participants are determined by the World Cup T20 World Cup qualifiers next year.
England and Wales were given the rights to host the Women’s World Cup in ICC 2026 in 2022, with the seven host places selection after assessing various criteria.
The official launch of the championship in Lord’s will include some of the largest names in the sport of British women, including Charlotte Edwards, England stars, Tami Boumont, Sophia Dinkley, Sophie Eckson, Lauren Bell, and the Runbi player in England Elie Koldon*.***.
A vision of the championship will be determined to be a sports scene that can accelerate equality in the cricket game and change the game forever, taking the gynecologist to the main current.
The Chairman of the International Cricket (ICC) Jay Shah and Chairman of the Cricket Board of England and Wales (ECB) welcomed the places of places.
