Karachi: Officials confirmed on Thursday: Officials confirmed on Thursday: The Central Asian Volleyball Association (CAVA) confirmed to the Men’s Association to Uzbekistan after officials expressed on Thursday that the Central Asian Volleyball Association (CAVA) has transferred the Association of Men’s States to Uzbekistan after some countries expressed hesitation to travel to Pakistan amid the tensions between Pakistan and India.

It was originally scheduled to take place in Islamabad from May 29 to June 4. However, after the concerns raised by multiple teams, Cava converted the event while maintaining dates unchanged.

The decision was completed during the CAVA annual meeting on April 25 in Nepal, where the member states were martyred in the strained environment between Pakistan and India as a major reason for their frequency.

“The championship will be transferred to Uzbekistan, but the dates will remain the same,” said Cava official.

CH Mohammad Yaqub, a senior Pakistani Volleyball Federation official, confirmed the development.

“Yes, the change was made because the two countries refused to participate due to the security situation between Pakistan and India,” he said.

This event will now show teams from Pakistan, Iran, Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and India.
