The former Pakistan leader Shouib Malik stepped from his role as a teacher of local teams and the Champions Cup, which officially ended his participation with the committee.

Malik shared his statement on his social media platforms, and thanked the Pakistan Cricket Council (PCB) for providing the opportunity to support the local cricket game.

He revealed that he submitted his resignation two weeks ago, citing the challenges in managing many professional and personal responsibilities.

“Two weeks ago, I informed the Pakistani Cricket Council (PCB) of my decision to step down from my role as a local Cricket teacher after a lot of consideration and submitted my official resignation in writing,” Malik said.

He added: “This was not an easy option, but after thinking about my obligations, I realized that reconciling multiple responsibilities would prevent me from giving my best to Pakistani Cquery and to my professional and other personal priorities. To ensure fairness for everyone, I think this is the time to move.”

One of the veteran warriors confirmed that he would respect all the current contractual obligations to ensure a smooth transition and give PCB a suitable time to appoint a successor before the next local season.
