Lahore: Pakistan Cricket Chairman (PCB), Michain Naqafi, named the former New Zealand coach Mike Hisson as a new coach for the white football teams in Pakistan, Geo Super I mentioned.
The date applies from May 26.
“I am pleased to announce the appointment of the former cricket player in New Zealand and the famous coach Mike Heson as coach of the Pakistani men team, Naqafi said in a post on X.
“Mike brings with him a wealth of international experience and a busy record in developing competitive aspects. We look forward to his experience and leadership in shaping the future of the white cricket game in Pakistan. Welcome to the team, Mike!”
The appointment of hesson before the T20i series in Pakistan comes against Bangladesh this month.
However, with the revised schedule of the Pakistani League Super League (PSL), which is now a big conclusion on May 25, the T20i series will be delayed against Bangladesh.
It was initially scheduled that the opening match in Faisal Abad on May 25, but the series will be rescheduled with the final PSL overlap.
Kiwi’s cricket player brings a wealth of experience for this role. He served as the main coach of New Zealand from 2012 to 2018, for John Wright.
Under his leadership, New Zealand achieved great success on the world stage. Hesson also trained in the high -pressure Indian league (IPL), which increased the consolidation of his credentials as a coach capable of prosperity in difficult environments.
