Karachi: Nour Zaman qualified in Pakistan to the main drawing of the British Open after Egypt’s Karima Torke’s defeat in the final match.
The ruling world champion under 23 pumpkin continued his impressive run on the professional circle, where he got his place in the main round of the prestigious championship in England.
In the decisive qualifying match, the tenth classified Zaman overcame EL TORKEY, 3-5, 11-8, 3-11, 11-7 in 46 minutes.
Earlier in the qualifying rounds, the time of the Will England Salter defeated 3-1 (10-12, 11-2, 11-5, 11-3) in 42 minutes and Adrian Waller 3-1 (9-11, 11-6, 11-7, 14-12) in the movie 59 minutes.
Zaman will face the first Pakistani player to reach the British main open round since 2022, Cortis Malik in England in the first round on Sunday.
In 2022, the last Pakistani Islam was competing in the main draw of the tournament.
