Dubai: While tension reports between Pakistani societies and Indian societies in different parts of the world, Dubai has once again proven that the language of love and sports exceeds all borders.
In an extraordinary gesture, the Indian community in Dubai gave a loud welcome in the former Pakistani chirkey leader, a martyr of Aphraidi in the Pakistan Association in Dubai.
Their warm interaction showed harmony and mutual respect that links societies in the United Arab Emirates.
The Kerala State community in India was hosting an event at the Pakistan Association in Dubai when it turned the arrival of Aphidi. Boom Boom chanted, the Indian attendees stopped their event to honor Afridi and invited him to join them on the stage.
Speaking to the assembly, Afraidi commented, “In the field, we played difficult matches, but outside the field, our relationships were always friendly.”
He praised Kerala, describing it as a beautiful place with wonderful cuisine, adding: “I often watch videos of Kerala state on YouTube.”
The moment came when the fans chanted “Boom Boom” where Afridi took the theater. He replied with a smile, “No more mutation mutation – I am now the old boom.”
The event turned into an unforgettable offer for unity, as both Pakistani and Indian attendees take pictures and warm hands with Aphrodi and former Pakistani Rami Omar Gul, who was also invited to this event.
