Javelin star made the nation proud to win the gold medal in the Asian competition final, where he ended a strong throw of 86.40 meters in his last attempt.

Nadim, who holds the Olympic record after a brutal throw 92.97 meters at the Paris 2024 Olympics, gave less than the Asian Championship record, which is 86.72 meters.
He became the first Pakistani in more than 50 years to win a gold medal in the Asian Athletics Championship, on the occasion of the first gold in Pakistan since 1973 when the country got the best honor in throwing the spear and 800 meters – God Dada and Mohamed Younis won it, respectively, during the event in the Philippines.
It is also the first Olympic gold medal in Pakistan and the first medal in the country in athletics in summer games.
So far, he won four gold, one silver, and four bronze medals in various events, including Olympic Games, World Championships, Commonwealth Games, Asian Games, Islamic Solidarity Games, South Asian championships, and Asian U20 championships.
