Karati: The National Volleyball Team in Pakistan got a place in the stage of the Central Central Association of Volleyball in Central Asia (CAVA) despite losing 3-1 against Kazakhstan in a tightly disputed match on Saturday.

Pakistan brought down a small difference, two groups 31-29 and 27-25 before it bounced back to take the third group 25-19. However, Kazakhstan closed the match with a victory of 25-20 in Group D.

Despite the defeat, Pakistan topped its group and advanced to the next stage of the championship, which lasts until June 4. The team will now face India on June 2, followed by a match against Iran on June 3.

The Pakistani Volleyball Federation praised the team’s performance, which highlighted its coordination and flexibility throughout the group stage.

“We congratulate the team on the top of the swimming pool and reach the next stage,” Al -Ittihad said in a statement. “We urge the nation to continue their support in the next decisive matches.”

The Cava Nations League, which is held in Fergana, includes upper volleyball teams from central and southern Asia. Pakistan’s progress in the competition is progressing while preparing for the knockout tours.
