
Dubai: The International Council of Cricket has confirmed on Monday the schedule of the thirteenth edition of the 2025 Women’s Cricket World Cup, with Pakistan playing all its matches in Sri Lanka.
The World Cup will start from September 30 to November 2 through five places in India and Sri Lanka, according to the announcement of the International Criminal Court.
The brief places of the championship of eight teams included: M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangaluru; ACA Stadium in Johi; Holcar Stadium in Endor; ACA-VDCA Stadium at Visakhapatnam and R. Premdasa in Colombo.
Meanwhile, Pakistan will play all its group’s matches in Sri Lanka in light of the “fusion formula”, which was adopted before the ICC Champions Cup for men 2025, which says that both gentle competitors will not visit each other to attend the ICC event for the next three years and will instead play their matches in the place of the environment.
As a result, the first semi -finals of the eight teams will be played either in Joahai or Colombo on October 29, while the subsequent strike will be held in Bengaluru the next day.
The Women’s Cricket World Cup final was scheduled to play on November 2 in Bangaluru; However, if Pakistan is eligible, it will be held in Colombo.
Eight teams will participate in the matches in which India and Sri Lanka participated. Besides the host countries teams, it included Australia, Pakistan, England, New Zealand, South Africa and Bangladesh.
Australia will enter the championship as defense heroes, after they beat England in the final of the last edition in 2022.
It is also the most successful aspect of the history of the tournament, as it won the prestigious silver tools on seven occasions.
