Karachi: In a strategic move to strengthen its team before the Asian Women’s Cup qualifiers in the AFC, the women’s football team is scheduled to include more diaspora players in the team. Geo.

The temporary team, which has not yet been officially announced, is characterized by six new players in the vocational diaspora in the European Championships and North America.

The British -Pakistani midfielder, Lila Panararas, is formerly in Birmingham and Maryam Mahmoud, an England striker West Bromwich Albion, among the prominent inclusion.

A source close to the team’s choice said, “Bringing experienced players in the competitive league abroad is part of the plan to raise the level of the team before the qualifiers.”

The training camp in Islamabad is likely to start on June 19, when Captain Maria Khan led the temporary team 22 players. Pakistan will compete in the group E of the qualifiers, facing Chinese Taipei (June 29), Indonesia (July 2), and Kyrgyzstan (July 5).
