Harrods warned its electronic commerce customers that their personal data may have been taken in a violation of computer systems.
Information such as customer names and contact details were taken after one of the third -party supplier systems in Harrods has been compromised, said Luxury London Department Store.
The affected customers have been informed and reassured that the data affected is “limited to basic personal identifiers,” said a spokesperson.
The passwords of the account or the payment details have not been assigned in the violation.
“The third party confirmed that it was an isolated incident that was contained, and we are working closely with them to ensure that all appropriate measures are taken. We have informed all the competent authorities,” added Harrods.
“No Harrods system has been compromised and it is important to note that the data has been taken from a third -party supplier.”

The four were released on bail while waiting for new surveys.
