A delegation from the International Cricket Council (ICC) visited the National Bank Stadium in Karachi on Thursday to review the ongoing preparations for the much-awaited 2025 Champions Trophy.

The six-member delegation, which included key ICC officials, broadcasters and logistical staff, carefully assessed the arrangements.

The purpose of the visit was to ensure that all necessary facilities were available for the tournament, which is scheduled to start on February 19, 2025.

Usman Wahla, Director of International Cricket at the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), gave the delegation an in-depth explanation of the development work currently underway at the stadium.

The deadline for completing the required development works at National Bank Stadium has been set for 25 January 2025, ensuring everything is ready before the start of the Champions Cup.
