Ketlin Clark celebrated her 23rd birthday on Wednesday with a surprise from Indiana fever employees and a great charitable donation.
After completing the exercise, Clark entered the weight room to find members of the front office of the fever and training staff who sing “Happy Birthday”.
Give her a cookie cake decorated with candles. Clark sudden reaction was captured and shared by the fever on X, previously known as Twitter.
“Thank you,” Clark said after the end of singing. “O comrades, you didn’t have to do so.” She expressed another surprise, asking, “Are you waiting for me? You were sitting there.”
In addition to the sudden celebration, Clark made a charitable donation through the Caitlin Clark Foundation. She presented 22,000 school books in Iowa and Indiana, reflecting the number she wears on her shirt.
The donation aims to support students in kindergarten to the eighth grade and was conducted through Scholasic.
“I remember choosing books from the study of study studies and how empowerment was for me as a child.” “I want to help children get the same experience, to develop their reading skills and open their imagination to the big dream.”
The entire press statement can be found on Wesbite “Caitlin Clark Foundation”.
The Clark Initiative is compatible with the Clark literacy campaign, and focuses on improving children’s literacy rates. It is expected that it will benefit schools and students in both cases.
