Maadrid: Jenny Hermoso was “sunken” by the former Spanish council of Luis Rubiales and was unable to enjoy winning the Women’s World Cup.
Rubiales ignited a global anger at the qiblah on Hermoso after Spain has just helped to overcome England in the 2023 Women’s World Cup final in Australia.
The 47 -year -old, who was forced to resign that year, has been tried since Monday, with sexual assault on the qiblah and then trying to force Hermoso, 34, to reduce the accident with the help of other union officials.
Barcelona midfielder Alexa Potilas told the National Court outside Madrid through the video.
“He was really drowned and told us that they would not leave her alone, and that they would not stop,” her colleague added.
The Esmanal Dahir told Lua Kodina the experience that during the journey of the team’s celebration to the Spanish island of Ibiza, Hermoso was “sad, she did not enjoy herself, out of that” although “it should have been the best moment in your life.”
Anna Beilin Ecob, Hermoso’s girlfriend who accompanied her to Ibiza, said that the player “tried to enjoy the trip, with her teammates, the around the surrounding, but he was aware of what happened and was sad, it was not herself, it was not the same.”
Prosecutors are searching for two and a half years in prison against Rubiales.
Among the defendants next to him is the former national team coach, Jorge Felda, and two former officials of the Federation, Robin Rivera and Albert Locke.
They are also accused of trying to force Hermoso with prosecutors who seek to 18 months in prison.
The brother of the older player, Rafael Hermoso, told the trial on Wednesday that Valda asked him to the trip to Spain after “persuading” his sister to record a video with Rubiales to show that she had not disturbed the qiblah.
He added that Velda warned his sister that she faced “professional and personal consequences” if she did not cooperate.
Hermoso, the best top scorer for the national women’s team, was not called immediately after the World Cup, where the new coach Monzi Tommy said she wanted to protect the player. She is now playing in Mexico.
“The denial of doing her work was a little fair, at the very least,” Botilas told the court.
