Karachi is scheduled to open the newly renewed national stadium tomorrow evening with a colorful celebration that includes fireworks and amazing lighting, while entering the public will be free.

Mohsen Naqafi, Chairman of the Cricket Board of Cricket (PCB), said in a statement that the rebuilding of the stadium, which started on September 28, 2024, was completed on January 31, 2025.

The Pavilion building was completely demolished and rebuilt, while new seats were installed in each container.

According to NAQVI, the stadium is now characterized by advanced LED food lights and modern grades, while fences are removed to provide spectators with an improved display experience.

PCB president confirmed that the global levels have been presented to both spectators and players, especially in preparation for the upcoming Champions Cup, as the visiting teams will be provided with first -class comfort.

Ali Zafar, Amanat, Ali Saher Ali Baja, will also do it at the opening ceremony.

The inauguration of the place comes days after Prime Minister Sherfins Sharif, Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore, which has also started a comprehensive renewal as well.

Last year, PCB started a major upgrade project for the two stadiums due to the next Champions Cup 2025, which is scheduled to take place in these places alongside the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.

Gaddafi Stadium will host its first match in the Champions Cup on February 22, and includes an exciting struggle between the traditional cricket competitors England and Australia.
