Karachi: Pakistan advanced to the quarter-finals of the Asian Squash Championship in 2025 after the defeat of Macau, China 3-0 in its final match on Thursday.
Abdullah Nawaz led the charge of 11-3, 11-4, 11-6 on Ka Hi Lee in 16 minutes.
People Ali Shah followed his example, and beat King in Lyong 11-3, 11-3, 11-4 in 15 minutes. Saki, Olh Khan Terrin Al-Nasr, sealed the victory of 11-3, 11-3, 11-7 against Ian Miguel de Dosa in 16 minutes.
The Pakistani round, which was not defeated in the tournament, includes victories over India and China earlier in the competition.
The team is now playing Japan in the quarter -finals because they are aimed at the championship title.
