
Karachi: Pakistan won a place in the semi-finals of the AFC 2225, after Japan’s 2-1 defeated in the quarter-finals on Friday.
People Ali Shah gave Pakistan an early progress with a victory 11-4, 11-6, 7-11, 11-8 over Renissi McKino in 53 minutes.
Japan Shu Takahashi went to the match after a hard meeting for 57 minutes, overcoming Saki Olh Khan Tarin 11-9, 11-6, 2-11, 7-11, 11-8.
In the decisive match, Abdullah Nawaz made a leadership offer, defeating Shonsako Kariaazono 11-7, 11-5, 12-10 in only 30 minutes to achieve Pakistan’s victory.
Pakistan will now face South Korea in the semi -finals tomorrow.
Earlier, Pakistan has been defeated in the group stage of the championship with victories over India, China and Macau.
