Jason Gilbeis, the former Pakistan coach, the interim coach AAQIB Javid as a “clown”, described his undermining behind the scenes.
Gilsby said, in the Instagram story on Wednesday, that he was undermined before his resignation from the position of Pakistan coach in December.
The former coach made these statements in response to Jafid’s statement, in which he mentioned: “We have changed 16 coaches in the last 2.5 years and 26 specified, if you do this for any team around the world, their performance will be like this as well.”
Gillespie indicated that Javed was responsible for removing Gary Kirsten as coaches.
“This is Farhan. AAQIB was clearly undermining Gary and I was behind the scenes, as the campaigns were pregnant in all formats. He wrote in his position on social media.

Meanwhile, Javeed made this comment regarding the last “weak performance” of the Pakistani team in the Champions 2025 Cup.
It is important to note that Gillespie resigned before the South Africa test series.
His decision came after the Pakistani Cricket Council (PCB) decided to renew the contract of the assistant of the Red Football Coach, Tim Nielsen, which prompted the latter to early retirement.
Earlier in December, the Australian coach revealed that the lack of clarity on the position of coach Tim Nielsen with high performance played an important role in his resignation.
“I was not fully aware of the decision not to keep Tim Nielsen,” Gilbeis said, adding: “This situation, along with previous incidents, made me wonder whether I really needed. I did not inform the main coach of this main decision that forced me to think this way.”
After his resignation, Javid was named as a temporary coach for the Red Ball team by PCB.
Moreover, earlier in November, 2024, Javed was also appointed as a temporary coach for the white time.
In a recent press conference, Pakistan coach was reflected in the team’s performance in the Champions Cup and said: “No excuse, the Pakistan team did not play well.”
The Pakistani team was eliminated from the championship it hosted very early after facing two fixed defeats from New Zealand and India.
