
New Delhi: Officials said that at least four people were injured in the town of Dr. Ambidkar Nagar in central India on Sunday in clashes that broke out when celebrating celebrating the celebration of the Champions of India.
India won the Champions Cup on Sunday evening after beating New Zealand by four share in the final in Dubai, where it won its world title, respectively.
The officials said that the clashes in Dr. Ambidkar Nagar, known earlier as MHOW, included stones from both sides, and many cars, shops and bikes were sabotaged.
The city is about 200 km (124 miles) from the capital of Maadi Pradesh Boubal.
“Some of the processions in which some people lit up firefighters outside the mosque (the mosque), and after that there was a dispute between both sides,” the chief police officer, Heika Fawsal, told reporters.
Police used tear gas shells to suppress violence, local media reported.
Video footage showed abandoned corridors with police officers in riot equipment, as some cars with shattered windows and other blacks as a result of their occurrence on the side.
The footage also showed glass shrapnel on the road and the sabotage shops.
“The situation is currently under control,” Nimish Aguwar told reporters, adding that the police patrols have started in sensitive areas.
Hinduste India includes the third largest Muslim population in the world and clashes during the celebrations of cricket victories.
The local media reported that the police in the western state of Maharashtra had to use force similarly to control the crowds that celebrate the victory of Pakistan arched in the same tournament last month, according to the local media.
Activists, opposition groups, and some governments led by Narindra Modi Prime Minister, accused the discrimination against Muslims, and their failure to act against those who target them.
Moody and his government denied these allegations.
