Local media reported on Friday that the striker England Harry Brook was prevented from the Indian Premier League for two years after he withdrew at the last minute to focus on the international cricket game.

The 26 -year -old, who is considered one of the advanced positions, was signed to replace Jose to Petr as the white football captain in England, on the capitals of Delhi for the IPL season, which begins next week.

Brock also withdrew from his contract with the Delhi team last season after the death of his grandmother.

The Cricket Board of England and Wales (ECB) has been informed of the Broks, an unveiled official from the Board of Control of the Cricket game in Indian (BCCI) to Indian Express newspaper.

The official said that the ban was part of a policy “on the knowledge of every player before his name was recorded for the IPL auction last year.”

The rules are designed to prevent late withdrawal from the T20 league, which includes money by players abroad.

Expectations can be made, most of which are injuries.

Brock apologized this week for social media “without reservation to Capitals and its supporters” to withdraw from the league “to recharge” and focus on the international cricket game.

Brock played one season in the IPL, for Sunrisers Hyderabad in 2023, when a century scored 55 ball against Kolkata Knight Rides.

The IPL 2025 begins on March 22 when the Calka Champions will host Royal Royal Royal Bangaluru in the Gardens of Aden.
