The second edition of Islamabad al -Layli was organized by the running community, which collected huge numbers of contestants, families, diplomats and people from all aspects of life in the capital.

A unique event included a unique 5 -kilometer and 10 kilometers long, followed by fireworks, dance fountains and a music show for the participants to celebrate.

The way for the race was inside Park View City Islamabad.

The event witnessed enthusiastic participation of different age groups, where the spirit of unity and sports was presented. Regardless of the members of the contestants in Islamabad, people from Lahore and Crachi also participated in this event.

A large number of children also participated in running with a stunning effort with most of them from finishing the 5 km race under the stars.

In the 5 km category, the first place was obtained by Ume Zaman of Islamabad Run with us while at Margalla Trail Runners ranked second.

Among the contestants, Anja Myrtveit was the first to cross the finish line with Anna Hudson in second place.

In the 10 -kilometer for male runners, Shehbaz Waris ranked first, and Wiqar Ahmed got from Runners second place. Of the 10 km of females, Sultan Sanbina was the best indifference while Farah Omar ranked second. The winners won prizes after running.

The clubs in Islamabad brought, including the contestants in Margala, Teril and Islamabad with the United States, and Islamabad Club, their teams, to run in this event.

The second version of Night Run offered the strength of sport and mixture mixed with celebration and confusion at night. It was aimed at enhancing running activities in the capital.

The second edition also collected many new contestants and experienced hostility to run together on a night track.

The event was not possible without generous support for the running community and fixed dedication to the participants, organizers and volunteers.
