New images have been published from the wreckage of a Superyacht which sank off the coast of Italy in a storm – leaving its British billionaire owner and his dead daughter.
Mike Lynch, 59, and her daughter Hannah, 18, were part of seven people killed when The Bayesian flows Outside Sicily on August 19, 2024.
The billionaire’s body was recovered on August 22, while Hannah – whose body was the last to be found in the research mission – was taken from the water the next day.

The ship’s recovery ended after the 56 m shell (184 feet) and the 72 m (236 feet) mast, as well as bridge furniture and other bulk items, were delivered to the Italian authorities in Termini Imerese in Palermo, in Sicily.

Marcus Cave, director of the British firm TMC Marine, who made the recovery effort, said: “The delivery of the shell, the mast and other potential Bayesian materials has put this project to its conclusion.
“We thank the recovery and other teams involved in this difficult project, as well as the Italian authorities for their professional aid throughout.”
The shell was recovered on June 21 And transported to around 12 miles (19 km) for termination the next day by one of the most powerful floating sea cranes in Europe.
On June 23, it was raised in heavy steel supports on the platform, which had the tarpaulin below to prevent pollution.
The cradle was made to measure to adapt to the shape of the shell and built in the Netherlands.

The mast had been detached from the recovery shell and was on the seabed.
It was recovered using inflatable lifting balloons and delivered to the port on June 25, as well as loose objects that may have moved away from the ship in the last 10 months.

Remote -controlled submersible equipment has been used to locate debris near the Bayesian site.
The ship was initially raised last month, but recovery efforts were delayed after the death of a diver during the underwater work on May 9, which aroused greater use of remote-controlled equipment.
The materials were delivered to the Italian authorities and the rescue staff and the equipment later left Sicily.

About 70 specialized people had been mobilized in Porticello across Europe to work on the recovery operation.
