A third of Americans said they felt expectations filming had grown up in recent years.

(The older Americans were a little more likely to say it, just like the people who said they worked in a job where they would be expected.)
But there are others who generally see it more as an additional cost, which makes them pay more.
When people thought it became more widespread, few of them thought it was a good thing.
This can be at least partly based on the fact that in recent years, in many other polls and through many income levels, the Americans have said that prices and costs have become a concern.
This CBS News / Yougov survey was carried out with a national sample at the national level of 2,443 American adults interviewed between July 23 and 28, 2025. The sample was weighted to be representative of adults on a national level according to sex, age, race and education, on the basis of the investigation into the American community of the American census and the current survey of the population, 2024. The error margin is ± 2.4 points.
