The former chief of one of the main groups of companies in Great Britain was forbidden to serve as director to “abuse” commercial loans from the COVVI-19 state.
The businesswoman nominated by the Anna Doy prizes has 35 years of experience in business consulting councils in the public and private sector and was acting managing director of the Institute of Directors (IOD), an eminent group of business lobbies, from October 2018 to November 2019.

She herself was forbidden to be a director for 11 years after having failed to reimburse an overflow of £ 50,000.
This means that Ms. Doy cannot be involved in the promotion, training or management of a company without judicial authorization.
The insolvency service, which investigated the issue, said on Thursday that Ms. Doy “abused” the rebound loan program from the COVVI-19 era by obtaining two loans when companies were only authorized.

The maximum amount of £ 50,000 as part of the rebound regime was paid twice, with two banks, both within five days of each other in May 2020, the service said.
After realizing that her business received double the authorized sum, Ms. Doy should have reimbursed one of the loans, he added.
The Recipient Company, Globepoint Associates LTD, entered into liquidation in March 2023, the two loans in progress.
The chief investigator of the insolvency service, Kevin Read, said that the loans had been “designed to provide vital support to companies in difficulty during the pandemic, not to be exploited by those who have not followed the terms of the program”.
“As a person with such experience in the management roles of seniors, Ms. Doy should have known better than to break the rules,” said Read. “More than 2,400 administrators have been prohibited for the abuse of COVVI-19 loans since the start of surveys in 2021.”
Who is Anna Doy?
Last year, Ms. Doy was nominated for the prestigious businessman of the women’s business club.
Since the request for COVVI-19 loans, she has held management positions at the Charter Institution of Water and Environmental Management as well as the British Association for Counseling and Psychotherapy.
