One of the largest British funeral funds for Pure Cremation suppliers has launched a sales process that could enhance the company at 700 million pounds.
Sky News learned that Epiris advisers, who acquired the business of its founders in 2023, began to go up potential bidders on their interest.
Houlihan Lokey, the investment bank, manages the sale.

Pure Cremation was founded in 2015 by Bryan and Catherine Powell, in order to meet the growing demand for so-called direct cremations, which involve a simple service without participation.
The company offers prepaid plans, which, according to the company, represent an opportunity for significant growth for a future owner.
Pure cremation is now led by Dean Lamble, the former managing director of Sunlife Insurance.
Sources have said that the current owners expected to get an output of a value much greater than 500 million pounds sterling and potentially up to 700 million pounds sterling, depending on current and projected profitability.
